John Vaillancourt is a real estate agent licensed with the state of Massachusetts as a broker. His affiliation is with ERA KEY Realty Service - Distinctive Group, more commonly known as ERA KEY Marlborough. John's philosophy is that professional development is an ongoing process, in educational circles he would be referred to as a life long learner. Since being licensed he has completed the requirements for the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Shortsale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations.

John has served the Realtor community at both the local as well as state levels. He has been involved with the North Central Massachusetts Association of Realtors (NCMAR) as well as the Worcester Regional Association of Realtors (WRAR) on the local level and at the state level the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR). His activity has been as a member of the board of directors (NCMAR), regional director (NCMAR), chairperson of the technology committee (NCMAR), member of the finance committee (NCMAR), member of the technology committee (WRAR), member of technology committee (MAR). John's first career was as a product engineer in electronic component manufacturing and he believes very strongly in the benefits that technology can bring to real estate brokerage.

He also believes that real estate brokerage is done not only Realtor to Realtor but also business to business. John has been on the ambassador committee of three local chambers of commerce and was recognized for his dedication to the business community by being selected as Ambassador of the Year in 2011 by the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Real Estate Brokerage is a Profession chosen by John as his second career; he didn't fall into it by chance.
